To find the correct size for a Tuxedo Vest is relatively easy, all you need to do is to measure your chest width.
Here's how you do that: With your arms down your side have your wife, girlfriend, daughter, son, boyfriend, mother, father, or any other person that is not you, use a tape measure and place it level
under your arms, completely around the widest part of your chest. Breathe normally and (IMPORTANT) do not hold your breath, do not try to squeeze yourself into a size smaller, you should be able to put 2 or 3 fingers in between tape measure and chest ! See what the tape measure says and there you go, it shows the chest width. This should be enough information to order your tuxedo vest since no sleeve length or neck width needs to be considered. Please note that this is true for most people, but if you are very tall (6'4 or taller) or your belly is much wider than your chest, we suggest to see a professional, such as a taylor or seamstress, to get measured.
