The making of this long awaited sequel to the 1974 Roman Polanski classic was a movie in itself.  Written by original screenwriter Towne ( who was also slated to direct) for Nicholson and original producer, the legendary Robert Evans (who would play the 'other Jake')  When the rushes came in the longtime triumvirate of friends fell apart and so did their project.  Eventually, Evans left the production, Towne was replaced as director by Nicholson, and Evans was replaced by the great Harvey Keitel (who ironically, was replaced by Martin Sheen after the rushes came in on APOCALYPSE NOW.)
This plush Vintage Custom jacket was a thank you GIFT; given by the one and only JACK NICHOLSON only to the cast & crew who worked on this movie.  Only a few hundred were made. If you are a fan of the film or the actor, or know someone who is (like me) then you will appreciate this  Large adult size custom coat by designer Robin Caldwell, whose jackets were gifts Nicholson gave on about a dozen of his films, each one of different color and style.  Wool zip up with film title embroidered on one sleeve, and '89 embroidered on the other. Extremely Scarce and Stylish. EXCELLENT Condition.
