    For sale a Ben Franklin Cook Island 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver proof coin and the Companion Gem Brilliant uncirculated Coin with a Postal Commemorative cover, specially postmarked ( JULY 4th, 2004 ) by the US Postal Service with a registration # 1084. Both coins struck in 2004 to commemorate the first US postal stamp, the 5 cent  Ben Franklin issued in 1847. These coins are the first ever legal tender  coins authorize by the United States Postal Service. The silver proof is limited to 5000 mintage and comes with a display box and a COA ( # 2192 0f 5000 ). This is a beautiful and historic set with a very limited mintage. Thanks for you interest. mmder
