Collectively known as Sanxing, or Three Stars, their human forms have been portrayed by artists since the Ming Dynasty in a variety of media, including paintings,
stone, porcelain, and woodblock prints celebrating New Year.Prominently displayed in many homes, from the Imperial Palace to the peasant's hut,
the figures embody attributes considered essential to personal happiness - prosperity, success and longevity.

Each coin is presented in a clear acrylic case, allowing both sides of the coin to be displayed, and is packaged within an illustrated shipper. The coin is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Obverse: The Ian Rank-Broadley of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, the weight and fineness, and the 2021 year-date are shown on the coin’s obverse.
A pattern of lines surrounds each circle in the figure eight design.
Reverse: The coin portrays colored images of Fu, Lu and Shou surrounding a yin yang symbol.
Embodying prosperity, Fu is represented as a learned man holding a baby. The artistry includes peonies, a symbol of wealth, and the Chinese character for "Fu".
Embodying success, Lu is represented as a mandarin. The artistry includes a ruyi, his ceremonial scepter, a boat-shaped gold ingot known as a syce, and the Chinese character for "Lu",
Embodying longevity, Shou is a wise old man with a high forehead. The artistry includes his crooked staff, the peach of immortality, and the Chinese character for "Shou".
