1994 Royal Canadian Mint Double Dollar Proof Set with .925 Silver Dollar

This has been stored.  Mint condition.  It is in original, sealed packaging and original hard plastic box.  This is the only 1994 set available which features both the commemorative silver dollar and the aureate dollar.
The commemorative silver dollar marks the 25th anniversary of the last dog team patrol of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, which took place from March 11 to April 5, 1969, from Old Crow, Yukon, to Fort McPherson, Northwest Territories, and back.  The patrol, led by Constable Warren Townsend and special Constable Peter Benjamin covered 804.5 kilometers on sleds pulled 21 purebred Siberian huskies.  The design on the reverse of the coin, by Canadian artist Ian D. Sparkes, portrays a dog team led by an RCMP officer in the Canadian North.
